Lions Sports Academy Residential's back with a bang this Easter after last year’s success!

Last summer, Lions Sports Academy decided to run a week long rugby residential for girls at Aldro School in Godalming, Surrey. Having never run a residential before, everyone involved was uncertain as to how the week might play out, but by the end of the week there was one thing that everyone was certain about & that was how much of a resounding success it had been.

It is with great pleasure that, following on from last year’s success, Lions Sports Academy have decided to run another rugby residential, this time during the Easter holidays at Boxhill School in Dorking. However, this year’s residential comes with an exciting new twist.  The residential will no longer be restricted to only girls but instead there will now be two separate residentials, one for girls & one for boys.

Both the girls & the boys residentials will run separately to each other with the girls coming first from Monday 8th - Thursday 11th April, before the boys follows between Monday 15th - Thursday 18th April.

Lions wants to reward our participants with not only a few days on a camp but instead with the opportunity to improve their rugby skills, build friendships and have fun, whilst enjoying world class coaching & staying in high-quality facilities throughout their week. Both camps will contain not just rugby but also a variety of other sporting activities & classroom activities that will range from video analysis to team culture sessions.

Speaking about the residentials Andy Jones, Lions CEO, said “Having the opportunity to go and spend four days away in such high-class facilities will be a very unique situation for many of the kids that attend our residentials and we hope to give them the best possible experience. Our aim is to create an enjoyable environment, one in which they can make friends, have fun & develop both their rugby skills on the pitch & life skills off the pitch. We hope after the success of last year’s residential at Aldro, we will see even greater numbers this year.”

Prices for both residentials are currently £375 until 28th February, after which they will rise to £425.

Don’t forget about our ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme where you can be reward with a free day on one of our camps or a session on one of our Athlete Development Programmes if you get a friend to sign up as well!
